Ian is a web designer/developer specializing in front-end development with a focus on responsive design and a little back-end coding thrown into the mix. He recently received his Bachelor of Science degree in Web Design & Interactive Media from The Art Institute of California - San Francisco. Over the past two years, he has interned at Madrone Studios and 2600hz as well as taken on a few freelance design gigs. Ian enjoys creating websites that appeal to target audiences and finds the initial front-end design planning and implementation to be the most rewarding. Additionally, he enjoys UI and UX design, editing videos, working on animation and doesn't mind putting in some time to code.

Kajam is a site designed to connect musicians with one another. Users can create profiles and search for new musicians to jam with. This site is built using: PHP, MySql, CSS3, and various social network APIs such as Facebook and Last.FM.
A site redesign using responsive web design to update the store's site as well as target new customers with smart phones. This site is built using the Skeleton responsive boilerplate.
An educational site built to teach users how to tie various ties. Users are presented with HTML5 video instructions as well as step-by-step directions and diagrams to ensure they tie the perfect tie every time.
BikeMap was designed and built, using Twitter Bootstrap, to be a responsive site that allowed users to find biking directions from one point to another. This version simulates the user experience by giving them directions in San Francisco from Civic Center to Dolores Park.
Awesome Collectables is an e-commerce site design built with Twitter Bootstrap. The site sells* high end sci-fi and fantasy collectables such as action figures, movie props, and statues. Users can add items to their shopping cart and check out using PayPal or Google wallet. *THIS SITE DOES NOT ACTUALLY SELL ANY PRODUCTS.
The Hive Mind is a forum site built using MySQL and PHP. Users can create an account and comment on, as well as create new threads and topics.
A group project to develop a functioning recipe site focusing on garlic. Ian built the image slider, the JavaScript for the random facts loader and some of the forms used on the page.
